Seth Thomas Sonora Chime Mantel Clock Seth Thomas Westminster chime mantel clock with presence. It has a mahogany case with satinwood inlays and is in very good condition with only minor scratches. The face is silvered metal and shows only a few signs of age. It is marked 'Made by Seth Thomas in USA'. The bezel and glass are also in good condition. The glass is beveled and curved. This clock has the large separate movement to run the chimes. It strikes the traditional Westminster chimes on the quarter, half and hour on four rods. The movement is marked with the ST logo, 'Made in USA' and the number 119. There is also a small label on the back of the case that reads 'J.B. Van Sciver Co. Camden, N.J.'. This is a large clock, standing 15 inches high, 10 inches wide and 7 inches deep. The clock is in good running order.
