C.1880 Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Richmond V.P." 8-day time/strike/alarm City Series shelf clock. Condition: Refinished rosewood veneered case in clean condition. Original dial has been repainted, but the size of the chapter ring is smaller than the original (looks vacant because the numerals are too small as well). Hands are improper; replacements available.. Bottom tablet is original. Original gilding on the door molding is pretty much worn off. Movement is original and signed. Ht 18.25" [46.3 cm]
