Round top, solid Oak weight-powered wall clock. The demand for Seth Thomas No. 2 wall regulators has been dramatically growing year after year. These fine clocks were used in railroad stations, banks; hotel lobbies and business offices for decades due to their very excellent timekeeping and handsome, solid appearance. They were made in a variety of woods...some veneered and some in solid Oak like this one. The top wooden bezel was made in eight sections which over the years often shrank a bit allowing a slight separation between each section. This one is no exception. The sections are solid however with only minor lines between each segment (see photograph). The brass movement has been polished, cleaned, serviced and oiled for proper operation.
