C.1909, Seth Thomas Clock Co., "Empire No. 23", 8-day time/strike crystal regulator. This clock is in pretty nice condition. The case has been well polished, but not lacquered, so has some discoloration. The porcelain dial is perfect. One side glass has a chip missing, but can be easily replaced. The rest of the beveled glasses are fine. The hands are original. The clock is signed "A Stowell and Co." on the dial; ST would "brand" these dials for main street department stores.
