C.1895, Seth Thomas ECLIPSE walnut gingerbread clock, with restoration. The case has been refinished, the dial re-papered and tablet replaced. This is a time, strike and alarm example, with original instruction label inside back of case (now dark). Still has its original cast "Eclipse" pendulum. This model was produced as a sales premium and often referred to as a "ball top". One is pictured in A Treasury of American Clocks, by Palmer, page 300. Height 25" $200-$250
