Seth Thomas metal case, "Duchess", ca 1909. 9 3/4 inch case originally had a bronze finish. Now very dark, never cleaned. 8 day, half hour bell strike, hours strike on a gong, running. It has a special pendulum, signed movement, signed brass back door. Signed porcelain dial has some chips around the arbors. Ly-Seth Thomas No.873.
