C.1915, Seth Thomas, Chime Beehive Clock No. 266, chiming the quarter hours on 8 patent Sonora Resonated bells. This is a LARGE and impressive clock, the mahogany case with inlay on the front. Case retains original crazed finish and will "rub-out" nicely. 8" silvered dial is good. Although the 2 movements have not been serviced in a while, they are both in operating order. This clock is from a home in Connecticut and is in very good original condition; see sister to this clock in Ly's Seth Thomas book no. 2, page 209. Height 18" $2000-2500
