C.1911, Seth Thomas Clock Co., "Capital No. 3", 8-day time/strike/alarm mantel clock. Condition: Refinished oak in generally fair to good condition, the stripper loosened some of the veneer, now glued back down (these late models are not solid hardwood). Original paper dial has some staining. Hands and pendulum are original. Original tablet is very nice with some minor flaking and scratches. Movement is signed. This clock is the same as the Yale model, but with decorative tablet; an uncommon model. Height 23.5 inches [59.6 cm]
