Seth Thomas clock co., shelf "Boston V.P.", ca. 1884. Fancy walnut case, original finish, 21 inches high. 8-day movement strikes on a nickel plated bell, the alarm mechanism is complete and strikes the same bell. Hands, nickel pendulum, dial, and glass, are old and original. The "Boston" is one of the popular "City Series" clocks made by Seth Thomas. Overall condition of this clock is very good.
